Robert Samples
CEO
Robert Samples is a highly qualified executive professional with extensive experience directing all executive operations for various healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinical operations, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing, CCRCs, and long-term care organizations. He is experienced in business development, physician and referral source relations, negotiating managed care contracts, strategic development and planning, quantitative analysis, marketing management, acquisitions and mergers, human resource management, and streamlining workflow processes to increase profitability. Robert comes to Landmark with more than 20 years of healthcare experience, with his previous experience being the President of a long-term care organization in Oklahoma.
Robert received his Bachelor’s in Business Management and Master’s in Business Administration from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma.

Craig Boudreaux, Jr., brings decades of executive experience in business development and operations to Landmark Hospitals, a network of long-term acute care and rehabilitation hospitals in Missouri, Georgia, and Florida. He excels in market expansion, delivering quality care that leads to exceptional patient satisfaction, service-line expansion, new market startups, and joint ventures.
Craig’s alertness to changing healthcare trends and deployment of emerging technologies drives his success in growing market share. His extensive national experience with for-profit publicly traded companies and unique understanding of commercial, managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid funding have established him as an industry leader.
Craig’s accomplishments at Landmark include instituting a telepresence robot system that provides relief for underserved medical specialties and night-call coverage for all Landmark Hospital locations. He also managed the Certificates of Need in Savannah, Ga., and SW Florida, Fla., for new state-of-the-art hospitals.
Craig has served on the leadership teams of multiple hospitals nationwide, including CEO positions at Promise Hospital of Baton Rouge, LA.; Regency Hospital in Covington, GA; and the New Orleans Region of Life Care Hospitals based in Plano, Tex. He has also been Vice President of Operations and Business Development for the Freestanding Hospitals Division/U.S. Rehab Care Group of St. Louis, Mo.
Craig earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Nicholls State University and an MBA Certificate from the Professional Competency Certification Program at Tulane University.
He lives in Baton Rouge with his wife and two daughters.
Janice Nordstrom
HR Director
Janice began her career with Landmark Hospital of Joplin as an HR Manager in September 2011. Janice has 35 years of Human Resource experience in various fields, including retail and manufacturing. In 2018, due to a Human Resource restructuring, Janice was promoted to Regional HR Director for the Missouri Hospitals, where she enjoyed working with the entire Missouri team. Janice is HR Director for the Joplin facility after the other Missouri Landmarks brought back in-house HR. Janice’s favorite thing about HR is the unique opportunity to impact employees' lives in various ways. Each day brings new inquiries, employee interactions, and in-facility demands requiring empathy, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking. When not at work, Janice enjoys family time with her husband of 50 years, two sons and their wives, who are her bonus daughters, and 4 grandchildren, who are all brilliant, loving individuals, and 1 very spoiled Yorkie.
